Mikayla is the proud owner/director of Grace Upon Grace Dance Studio. Mikayla's love for dance started at the age of three and quickly became her obsession. A graduate of Colonel Richardson High School, Mikayla continued her education at AACC, studying in Dance and Business Communications/Marketing. While in college, Mikayla studied a wide range of styles, training under some of the best artist and instructors in Maryland. 

With over 20 years of dance experience, she continues her education through online courses, conferences, and conventions - furthering her knowledge in tap, ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary, and hip hop. Mikayla also has experience choreographing routines for pageants and cheer organizations.

Through years of instructing, choreographing, and building connections, she finds so much joy in mentoring the next generation.  

From a young age, Mikayla knew that owning a dance studio was in God's plan and was blessed in 2020 to have the opportunity to open Grace Upon Grace Dance Studio.

Hanah’s love for dance began at age two at Julie Rogers Studio of Dance in Southern Maryland. She quickly advanced, earning a spot on the competition team. Training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, lyrical and contemporary, she competed at workshops and events across the East Coast.
 In high school, Hanah served as team captain, leading her team in competitions and NDA summer intensives, where she was recognized as an NDA All-American Dancer. She continued at Towson University as a member of the NDA National Championship-winning Dance Team, further refining her skills in jazz, hip-hop, and pom.
 In 2016, Hanah was selected as a dancer for the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders, launching her professional career. As a multi-season captain and three-time Pro Bowl nominee, she has been selected to represent the organization at major events like the NFL Draft and AFE Military Performance Tours, bringing entertainment and appreciation to deployed service members overseas.

With years of experience and an unwavering passion for dance, Hanah is dedicated to inspiring and mentoring the next generation of dancers and strives to instill in her community the same love, discipline, and excitement that have shaped her own journey.  

Mia has been dancing for years and started her teaching journey as a student teacher at GUGDS under Ms Mikayla. Mia got her certification in acrobatic arts in 2024 and serves as our Intro and Level 1 acro instructor. She is also studying to earn her business degree. Ms Mia is excited to have started her professional career and is thrilled to be sharing her love of dance/acro with the next generation!

Sophie has been a dancer for 15 years and started her teaching journey at GUGDS in 2024. She has studied in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and more! She became a competitive dancer, further refining her skills at conventions, learning from some of the top instructors/choreographers in the industry. She is currently studying social work and a to become a mental health therapist. “Im so excited to be teaching and can’t wait to see what this year brings!”

Ashleigh's passion for dance began at the age of three in Lewes, Delaware, where she trained and competed for nearly 15 years. She participated in national conventions and competitions such as NYCDA, Tremaine, and Showstopper, earning accolades including group titles and a regional scholarship from Tremaine in 2017. She has trained under notable industry professionals, including Tiffany Maher (SYTYCD finalist) and Colby Shinn (choreographer and performer for major artists).

A graduate of Cape Henlopen High School and former co-captain of the school's dance team, Ashleigh continued her education at the University of Delaware, earning a degree in Dietetics with a minor in Dance. During her time there, she was an active member and choreographer for the Delaware Repertory Dance Company (DRDC), later serving as Vice President of Performance in 2020 and 2021.

Ashleigh has taught a wide range of dance styles—including tap, ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, character, musical theatre, and lyrical—to students ages 3–16. She also has experience choreographing gymnastics floor routines and serves as the Assistant Coach for the Cape Henlopen High School Dance Team.

Outside the studio, Ashleigh works full-time as a registered dietitian for Milford School District. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with her cat and two dogs—Millie, Bruno, and Kaiya—trying out new recipes at home, or practicing pilates on her back patio.
